Accident and Emergency (A&E)

Our Accident and Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to treat critical and life-threatening conditions in both adults and children. A range of highly experienced and skilled teams in the department, including emergency doctors and nurses are here to assist you.

What will happen upon arrival?

In life-threatening conditions, patients are screened, prioritised, and treated based on their clinical needs when they arrive at A&E. Otherwise, once you arrive you will have to register at the reception and our nurses will screen you on a triage system so we can prioritise your care. When necessary, our on-call consultant specialists will be contacted when necessary to assist with the diagnosis and treatment.

The following is an estimation of the waiting time:

Red Zone: Immediate Attention

Yellow Zone: Within 15 Minutes

The department is best accessed at the emergency entrance right after you enter the hospital compound or first right on upon you enter the main entrance on the first floor.
